Mrs. Austin’s Honors Physics Students Put Vectors into Action

Published September 10, 2026

Mrs. Diane Austin’s Honors Physics students at Pinnacle Classical Academy took their learning outside for Vector Field Day!

Students independently measured and mapped 12 displacement vectors using measuring tapes and protractors, carefully recording the magnitude and direction of each vector. They then used both graphical and mathematical methods to calculate their resultant vectors and compare their calculations with the actual displacement.

It was a great opportunity to put classroom concepts into action through hands-on learning, problem-solving, and real-world application!
