Reagan Stroud Completes Prestigious Atrium Health HYPE Summer Academy
Congratulations to Reagan Stroud on successfully completing the Atrium Health HYPE (Healthcare Youth Pathways to Employment) Summer Academy!
The highly competitive four-week program is designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of health care professionals by providing students with hands-on learning experiences, professional development, and the opportunity to shadow health care professionals across a variety of medical specialties. Participants also work alongside mentors while gaining valuable insight into the many career paths available within the health care field.
When reflecting on her experience, Reagan shared:
"The HYPE program has given me the opportunity to shadow all the different areas of the hospital. I was also exposed to new careers and programs that I had never heard about before. I am so grateful for this opportunity and the friendships made inside of the program!"
